Adopting an older dog is completely different than adopting a puppy. Older dogs take a lot more time adjusting and fitting into your home and lifestyle. A lot of patients and love will go a long way on helping your dog adjust to his or her new environment. All retiring dogs are up to date on shots and vet exams. They will come either spayed or neutered along with having a dental cleaning if needed before leaving my home . Every dog in my care has been OFA health tested, as well as some of the dogs being health tested through Embark. Our dogs are pee pad trained for in side as well as going out side to the bathroom. CJ (available female)
This has been a hard decision but I have decided to place CJ in her forever home . CJ has been extremely special to us and my plan was to always keep her with us but I have made the decision that it’s just not fair to CJ and she deserves so much more with a household with less dogs so she can receive more one on one . I will be extremely picky on her forever home and her name will need to remain CJ . She was named after her mom Chloe and CJ is for Chloe Junior. Her mom passed away with CJ’s litter due to complications from a C-section.
You won’t find a better dog with an excellent personality than CJ. She is absolutely perfect!! She is an extremely happy girl who loves everyone including kids and She makes a perfect lap buddy. She has not been raised around cats but loves all the dogs. Not a big barker and pretty mellow. CJ is potty trained to outside and pee pads . She does not like to be in a crate and it will give her anxiety. She will do best where she can have free rein of the house like she’s used to at mine.
